Egypt’s Minister of Health and Population, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, held a meeting on Wednesday on the sidelines of Arab Health 2025 from 27-30 January in Dubai with representatives of Nihon Kohden, a global leader in medical technology, to discuss enhancing cooperation in healthcare innovation and technology, according to a Cabinet statement.
Discussions focused on a potential partnership between Nihon Kohden and El Araby Group to supply medical devices to Egyptian healthcare facilities, improving efficiency and service quality.
The talks also covered training programmes for healthcare professionals, the expansion of telemedicine and remote monitoring solutions especially for underserved areas, and leveraging Nihon Kohden’s technologies to meet Egypt’s healthcare needs.
Additionally, both sides explored investment opportunities in research and development, as well as collaboration to combat non-communicable diseases, reinforcing Egypt’s commitment to a comprehensive and innovative healthcare system.
