Egypt offers 2,612 new industrial plots – Cabinet
Egypt’s Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development Kamel Al Wazir announced on Sunday the launch of the eighth phase of the industrial land offering programme, providing 2,612 new plots across 37 industrial zones in 24 governorates nationwide.
This initiative aims to boost local production, manufacturing, and exports, and meet industrial investment needs sustainably by providing industrial land quickly to investors.
Ministry of Industry will release lands every three months through the Egypt Industrial Digital Platform to offer new investment opportunities and encourage local and foreign industrial investment.
The Industrial Development Authority (IDA) offers incentives to investors applying for land, including a 50% reduction in study costs, exemption from bid fees, no financial guarantees, simplified feasibility study requirements, and a 10% reservation deposit. These measures aim to streamline procedures and reduce costs for investors.
Applications will be conducted online from December 1st to 8th, on the Egypt Industrial Digital Platform website (www.madein.eg) in collaboration with the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI).
