Egypt’s Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly inaugurated on Sunday the Ado Mena Building Materials (S.A.E) factory, with $15 million in Turkish investments.
The factory, which produces PVC window and door sections, spans 55,100 square metres inside Orascom Industrial Parks and began trial operations in August. It will initially create around 100 direct jobs, the statement added.
The plant has an annual production capacity of 15,000 tons of PVC window profiles, while a doors section—set to launch in January—will produce 75,000 units annually.
Madbouly said the project supports the government’s drive to boost local manufacturing, enhance value-added exports, and increase local content in industrial output.
Ado Group, founded in 1956, operates in six countries with eight product lines across 800,000 square metres, employing over 3,500 people and exporting to more than 80 markets.
During his tour, Madbouly reviewed production processes, noting that 90% of the factory’s materials, including PVC and calcium carbonate, are locally sourced. The facility achieves over 90 per cent local content while meeting international quality standards, he said.
