Egypt, Orange seek deeper cooperation in AI applications

Egypt’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Amr Talaat, met with the CEO of Orange Middle East and Africa Jérôme Hénique, on Tuesday to explore avenues for cooperation, particularly in artificial intelligence (AI) applications, according to a Cabinet statement.

The meeting was attended by CEO of Orange Egypt Yasser Shaker and other senior executives from the company, who showcased the latest AI-driven innovations across various sectors, including training and sports. Hénique expressed his company’s keen interest in strengthening collaboration with Egypt in these areas.

The discussions took place on the sidelines of the AI Action Summit, held in Paris from 10 to 11 February.
