Egypt records highest primary surplus in 5m

Egypt achieved a primary surplus of approximately 170 billion Egyptian pounds during the first five months of the fiscal year 2024/25 (July–November), nearly three times the 60.8 billion Egyptian pounds recorded in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year. This marks the highest primary surplus recorded for the same period in history.
