Egypt records highest single-day number of coronavirus cases at 358

Egypt reported on Friday 358 new coronavirus cases, bringing its overall nationwide tally to 5,895, according to a health ministry statement.

The country also registered 14 new fatalities due to the novel coronavirus, bringing the total number of deaths to 406. But 79 more patients recovered, for a total of 1,460 recoveries, the statement added.
