Egypt has occupied the 107th ranking among the most competitive economies all over the world, according to a report issued today by the World Economic Forum. Egypt has retarded by 13 rankings, compared to last year, in which the country recorded the ranking number 94.
According to the report, Switzerland tops the overall rankings in The Global Competitiveness Report, followed by Qatar in the Middle East, while North Africa occupied the 11th ranking, and Saudi Arabia the 18th ranking.
The Wold Economic Forum determines the economic competitiveness of the countries in accordance with 12 factors, and their impact on the political, social, and institutional performance. In this regard, the total score of Egypt reached 144 points.
