Egypt registers 112 new coronavirus cases, 24 deaths on Tuesday

Egypt recorded 112 new coronavirus (Covid-19) cases on Tuesday, bringing the total infection tally to 94,752 since the outbreak began in February, according to a health ministry statement.

The health ministry also reported 24 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 4,912.

The statement said 1,503 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 45,569.

The daily new cases and deaths of Coronavirus have been declining in the past two weeks despite the lifting of lockdown in Egypt.
