Egypt registers 603 new coronavirus cases on Sunday

Egypt recorded 603 new coronavirus cases on Sunday, bringing the total infection tally 87,775 to since the outbreak began in February.

This is the third consecutive decline in Egypt’s daily infection tally.

Sunday’s number of cases is the lowest Egypt has recorded in a single day since 18 May.

The health ministry also reported 51 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 4,302.

The statement said that 512 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 28,380.
