Egypt Renews Money Transfer Restrictions for Individuals at USD100k Maximum

Egypt’s Central Bank has renewed its decree imposed in 2013 concerning allowing any money transfers on condition of not exceeding US $ 100.000 or equivalent for individuals.

CBE’s renewed decree comes by the virtue of facilitating banking procedures and permitting banks to carry out money transfers of their clients abroad.
