Egypt repaid $15.8 billion in foreign debt in FY2020/21: c.bank

Egypt repaid $15.8 billion in foreign debt throughout the financial year 2020-2021 ended last June, the central bank said in a monthly report on Wednesday.

The money included $11.67 billion in debt installments and $4.16 billion as interest.

Earlier, the North African country repaid $17.2 billion in foreign debt during the financial year ended in June 2020.
