Egypt reports 123 new coronavirus cases, 19 deaths on Friday

Egypt recorded 123 new coronavirus cases on Friday bringing the total infection tally to 97,148, according to a health ministry statement.

The health ministry also registered 19 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from the Covid-19 to 5,231

The statement said 856 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 64,318.
