Egypt reports 46 new coronavirus cases and one death – ministry

Egypt confirmed on Thursday 46 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of cases up to 256, the health ministry said in a statement.

The new cases include 4 foreigners and 42 Egyptians who, all of them had come in contact with previously announced positive cases, ministry spokesman Khaled Megahed

There was one new fatality, bringing the total number of deaths from the flu-like virus to 7, the ministry added.
