Egypt reported on Saturday 188 new coronavirus cases, the highest daily toll since confirming the first infection in February, bringing the total to 3,032

The North African country also revealed 19 new deaths linked to the novel coronavirus pandemic, bringing the total to 224, according to a statement by the health ministry.

Meanwhile, the total number of the fully-recovered cases climbed to 701 on Wednesday, all have been discharged from isolation hospitals, it added.
