Egypt’s Minister of Industry and Trade Tarek Qabil announced Monday a board revamp of the Egyptian side of the Egyptian-Zambian Business Council.
According to the recent revamp, Ahmed El Sewedy, chief executive of Elsewedy Electric, has been selected to chair the Egyptian side of the council.
The new council will be for three years.
The new board members of the council currently include Mohamed Saad, country president of Schneider Electric Egypt and North East Africa; Mohamed Ahmed El Sayed – Chairman of Kapci Coatings; and Khaled El Mikati, chairman of the Egyptian Exporters Association – Expolink (EEA).
Following the revamp, the new board members shall submit a half-annual report to the Egyptian Ministry of Industry and Trade, involving its activities, future plans, and suggestions to develop the mutual interests for both countries.
