Egypt’s ministry of investment and foreign trade said on Thursday it had reviewed the first phase of the Nafeza Platform, a new single-window system developed with the Information and Decision Support Centre (IDSC) to modernise and streamline the country’s foreign trade operations.
The first phase includes analytical and informational tools offering market data, price analyses, and sectoral studies, as well as a capacity-building component to help exporters use data more effectively, enhance competitiveness, and promote Egyptian products internationally, the ministry said in a statement.
Further phases under development aim to make Nafeza the national digital gateway for exporters, aligning with the needs of the business community and advancing trade reforms through a unified, data-driven framework, according to the ministry.
The platform forms part of Egypt’s broader trade and investment reform program, designed to support exporters, strengthen competitiveness, and expand the country’s access to global markets.
