Egypt’s Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghaffar discussed on Thursday the action plan for the healthcare system development project, which aims to enhance and automate health services and initiatives across all healthcare facilities nationwide, as per an Egyptian Cabinet statement.
He made these remarks during a meeting with top-ranked officials at the ministry to assess the project’s advancement, which is being carried out in collaboration with the World Bank (WB), the statement added.
The project also includes training programmes for medical teams, as per the Cabinet’s statement. Abdel Ghaffar was briefed on the technical procedures being followed during the project’s implementation.
The meeting focused on finding immediate solutions for sustainable development projects. The minister emphasised the importance of coordination, regular meetings, monitoring, evaluation, and practical reporting.
He directed officials to provide all necessary support to ensure the project’s sustainability, highlighting its importance in delivering high-quality healthcare services to citizens across all governorates.
