Egypt reviews Unified Procurement Authority results for FY 2024/2025

Egypt’s Unified Procurement Authority (UPA) reviewed its final accounts and results for fiscal year 2024/25 at a board meeting on Saturday attended by Health Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar and Industry Minister Kamel El Wazir, the Cabinet said.

The meeting assessed sales performance for 2023/24 and 2024/25, compared approved financial targets with actual results over the past five years, and examined detailed revenue statements, including sales carried forward into the current fiscal year.

Abdel Ghaffar said the authority plays a central role in promoting transparency and cutting costs, helping strengthen Egypt’s procurement and supply system while securing sustainable financial resources for healthcare.

The board also discussed debt settlements linked to loans and letters of credit, and reviewed progress on applying the unified procurement mechanism in line with presidential directives.
