Egypt rises 10.6 points in Global Soft Power Index

Egypt has achieved a notable 10.6-point increase in the Soft Power Index, rising from 34.8 in 2020 to 45.4 in 2025, driven by advancements in culture, business, and diplomacy, as per a Cabinet statement on Tuesday.

The concept of soft power refers to a nation’s ability to attract and persuade others through cultural, economic, and diplomatic means rather than military force or economic sanctions, the statement added.

This influence plays a crucial role in enhancing security, attracting investment, boosting trade, and drawing talent and tourism, ultimately contributing to economic growth, according to the statement.
