Egypt, Romania sign MoU to boost SME co-operation
Egypt’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Romania’s Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship, and Tourism to strengthen economic cooperation. The agreement was reached during a meeting of the Egyptian-Romanian Joint Committee for Economic, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation on Thursday
According to the cabinet statement, the agreement aims to share expertise and boost cooperation in SME development. Basil Rahmi, MSMEDA CEO praised efforts to market Egyptian MSME products abroad, and strengthen ties between the two nations and open new avenues for trade and investment. Rahmi further highlighted the vital role of SMEs in driving growth, particularly in agriculture, textiles, and technology.
