Egypt is set to receive a substantial allocation of 500 million UAE dirhams for projects from BEEAH Group, a leading Emirati company specialising in sustainability, environmental solutions, and digital transformation.
The projects will focus on waste management, leveraging Egypt’s abundant resources and capabilities to ensure mutually beneficial investment returns.
This announcement came during a meeting with Egypt’s Minister of Environment, Yasmine Fouad, centred on potential collaborations, particularly in a medical waste management project in Giza and an agricultural waste recycling initiative in New Valley.
Additionally, there will be co-operation on a factory project aimed at converting palm cultivation waste into exportable wood, which is expected to attract investments worth 70 million euros.
The Emirati delegation emphasised the importance of building multi-party partnerships, involving local and foreign partners, and collaborating with investment funds to mitigate potential risks.
They shared their extensive experience in medical waste management both locally and globally, expressing eagerness to quickly identify and initiate promising investment opportunities in Egypt.
