Egypt is seeking to attract more Kuwaiti investments into its maritime and dry ports, logistics hubs, and industrial zones, Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel El-Wazir said in a meeting with Kuwait Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Sabah.
El-Wazir highlighted the significant strides made in Egypt’s ports, noting that the country has attracted six of the world’s largest shipping lines and seven major global operators.
Egypt’s ports have witnessed a strong surge in transit trade, a direct result of the country’s comprehensive modernisation and development plan aimed at transforming Egypt into a regional logistics and transit trade hub.
