Egypt seeks vegetable oils in international tender – GASC

Egypt is seeking to buy vegetable oils in an international tender, Egypt’s state grains buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC), said on Thursday.

The tender is set for arrival in February 14-29 and/or March first-15.

The authority also said that traders should submit bids for payment at sight along with a 270-day letters of credit, with a deadline for offers on December 27.

GASC also set another tender for local vegetable oils, with at least 1,000 metric tons of soy oil and 500 metric tons of sunflower oil to be delivered from Feb. 15 to March 16, with the deadline for offers also on December 27.
