Egypt sees $2.9b EU budget boost in Dec.

The European Union (EU) is expected to provide a budgetary support package valued at $2.9 billion. This crucial assistance is slated for disbursement in December, as announced by Planning Minister Rania Al-Mashat on Thursday.

This comes after the EU technical mission has concluded its operations in Egypt today. This mission has diligently overseen the progress made in implementing the Egypt’s comprehensive reform programme.
