Egypt sees 387 new coronavirus cases, 17 deaths

Egypt reported on Wednesday 387 new coronavirus cases, including one foreigner, taking the toll to 7,588, according to a health ministry statement.

The country also announced 17 new deaths took the tally of virus fatalities to 469. But 85 more patients recovered and have been discharged from quarantine hospitals, for a total of 1,815 recoveries, the statement said.
