Egypt, Seychelles discuss boosting tourism, hotel investment

Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Sherif Fathy met with Seychelles’ Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism Sylvestre Radegonde to explore ways to strengthen tourism cooperation and attract more visitors from Seychelles. Talks focused on increasing flight frequencies between the two countries and enhancing collaboration in training and hospitality.

The meeting also addressed investment opportunities in Egypt’s hotel sector to expand room capacity. Moreover, the Egyptian minister Fathy expressed Egypt’s readiness to support Seychelles through training programmes and highlighted the country’s tourism-focused educational institutions and upcoming online learning platform for tourism professionals.
