Egypt, Sudan will sign a MoU on boosting SMEs
Egypt and Sudan will be signing a memorandum of understanding to boost cooperation on developing micro, small and medium sized enterprises and businesses ecosystem.
Egyptian Minister of Industry and Trade, Nevine Gamea is leaving for the Sudanese capital with a high-level delegation on the occasion of Egypt’s participation as a guest of honor at the Khartoum International Fair, which will be held from January 21-28.
Egyptian-Sudanese relations have recently experienced a momentum, regarding official and governmental mutual visits, visits of businessmen, as well as participation in trade fairs and the promotion of border trade.
Besides this, there has been a revitalisation of the business council on both sides, and cooperation in the field of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) along with renewable energy use applications.
The minister will attend during her visit the first meeting of the Egyptian-Sudanese Business Council after reforming the Egyptian side to discuss means of making a qualitative leap in terms of joint commercial and industrial relations with Sudan.
