Egypt surges to 18th in world road quality index – Cabinet
Egypt has made significant progress in the Road Quality Index, moving up 100 positions from 118th place in 2015 with a score of 2.9 points to 18th place in 2024 with a score of 5.53 points, as per a Cabinet statement on Tuesday.
The Road Quality Index is a sub-index of the Travel and Tourism Development Index, which evaluates the quality of road infrastructure on a scale from 1 to 7 (1 = among the worst in the world, 7 = among the best in the world).
