Egypt’s telecoms regulator, the National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) announced Monday that it estimated its total budget at 4.53 billion Egyptian pounds ($510 million) for the financial year 2016-2017.
According to NTRA, expenditures in the new budget will account for 926 million pounds distributed as 139 million pounds for salaries and 787 million pounds for other purposes.
Revenues were estimated at 2.72 billion pounds with an expected budget surplus of 1.78 billion pounds.
Capital revenues are expected to reach 1.82 billion pounds for the same financial year all of which are assorted.
