Egypt to build tech park in New Borg El Arab

Egypt New Urban Communities Authority’s (NUCA) board has approved Sunday to allocate a land plot over 46 feddans to establish a new technology park in New Borg El Arab City, 48km (29.8 miles) southwest of central Alexandria.

This park will be built in partnership with NUCA, affiliated to the state’s Housing Ministry, and Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), affiliated to Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT).

Technology Park is landscaped development usually comprising of high specification office space, besides residential and retail developments, designed to encourage localisation of high technology firms such as information technology, and software development.
