Egyptian Chemical Export Council has agreed with Tanzania to establish a logistics centre during the next year in order to facilitate transporting the Egyptian exports to the African market, CEC Chairman Khaled Abu El Makarem said.
Abu El Makarem told Amwal Al Ghad on the sidelines of Africa 2017 forum held from 7-9 December 2017 in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El-Sheikh, Under the auspices of President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, that he has met with the Tanzanian Deputy Prime Minister and number of government official to set the mechanisms to hasten the implementation of the project by the beginning of 2018.
He also expected a growth of 22 percent in the Egyptian exports to Africa during the next three years, pointing out that the exports are currently on track to achieve a breakthrough that would exceed the volume of trade expected by the government by 2020.
