Egypt will host the seventh edition of the Big 5 Construct Egypt from June 17 to 19, as the country’s $570 billion construction market continues its rapid expansion, supported by ambitious infrastructure projects and sustainable urban development goals.

The event, held under the patronage of Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly, will take place at the Egypt International Exhibition Centre in Cairo and run alongside the third edition of the Egypt Infrastructure & Water Expo.

Backed by a $400 billion infrastructure pipeline and the government’s Vision 2030 agenda, Egypt’s construction sector is projected to grow at a compound annual rate of 8.39 per cent through 2030, according to industry sources.

“Year after year, we see the growing impact of Big 5 Construct Egypt and Egypt Infrastructure & Water Expo in shaping industry conversations, strengthening connections and accelerating project delivery across the country by fulling the industry’s sourcing needs.” said Josine Heijmans, Senior Vice President for Construction at dmg events.

“As Egypt expands its infrastructure and urban ambitions, these events promote knowledge exchange and spark cross-sector collaboration, contributing to a more sustainable and resilient future for the sector,”

More than 350 exhibitors from over 20 countries — including China, Germany, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, India and the UAE — are expected to showcase a broad range of construction, infrastructure, and water technology solutions.
