Egypt to issue $2-b Sukuk in ’25 – FinMin

Egypt plans to issue $2 billion in Islamic bonds (sukuk) in 2025 through multiple offerings, Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk told Reuters on Wednesday. Kouchouk also said Egypt is open to pursuing further debt-for-investment swaps, following the model of the Ras El Hekma.
