Egypt will unveil a new initiative next Tuesday aimed at restructuring struggling factories in need of financial support, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry Kamel El-Wazir said on Sunday.

El-Wazir made the announcement during the launch of the country’s National Narrative for Economic Development, noting that the initiative has received approval from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi. The plan is part of broader government efforts to support industrial growth and improve the performance of financially distressed manufacturing units.
