Egypt to reopen economy gradually by end of Ramadan
By the end of Ramadan, government will gradually open the country, while continuing necessary measures to contain coronavirus spread according to Egyptian Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly.
”We have balanced between taking preventive measures against #coronavirus to protect citizens health and allowing the economy and production to continue”, he added.
Egypt will adhere to social distancing policy even after opening the country to curb the spread of coronavirus.
Several scenarios are under study to get pandemic-hit sectors back on track, such as tourism.
