Egypt to Revamp Egyptian-Japanese Business Council Soon

Egypt targets restructuring the Egypt-Japan Business Council (EJBC) in the coming period, said minister of industry and trade Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour.

According to the minister, the restructure process aims to bolster bilateral trade and economic ties between Egypt and Japan and to allure more Japanese companies to invest in Egyptian developmental projects.

During his meeting with the new Japanese ambassador to Egypt Takehiro Kagawa, the Egyptian minister stressed his country’s plans to provide optimal climate to attract Japanese investors to the local market. Egypt seeks to benefit from the up-to-date Japanese technology to develop the Egyptian industry.
