Egypt and Turkey plan to increase bilateral trade to $15 billion in the near future, Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk discussed this target during a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Mehmet Simsek.
Both ministers expressed a keen interest in enhancing economic co-operation in commerce and finance, and addressing global challenges, according to Kouchouk’s remarks.
The Egyptian government aims to enhance economic ties with Turkey to benefit both countries and promote regional economic integration in the Mediterranean and Middle East.
