Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Atty met with UAE Minister of Investment Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi on Wednesday to discuss ways to expand investment cooperation across key sectors, the foreign ministry said.

Abdel-Atty highlighted growing Emirati investments in Egypt as a sign of confidence in the country’s economy and reforms, citing progress in urban development, energy, infrastructure and logistics.

He pointed to Egypt’s newly adopted National Investment Strategy 2024–2030 as a framework to attract further capital, and reaffirmed Cairo’s support for joint industrial partnerships with the UAE and other Arab states aimed at boosting regional integration and sustainable growth.
