Egypt, UAE ink insurance partnership deal
Egypt’s Misr Insurance Company signed on Sunday a cooperation protocol with UAE’s Al Ain Ahlia Insurance Co. to drive digital transformation, innovation, and expertise exchange in the insurance sector.
Witnessed by Egyptian Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, Hassan El-Khatib, the protocol focuses on developing digital systems, enhancing customer services, and improving IT infrastructure. It also includes joint initiatives in product development and specialised training to upskill employees in both companies.
Minister El-Khatib highlighted the protocol’s alignment with Egypt’s Vision 2030, emphasising its role in accelerating digital transformation, attracting foreign direct investment, and strengthening Egypt’s and the UAE’s positions in financial services. He noted that the partnership reflects the region’s commitment to fostering sustainable development and addressing global market challenges.
