Egypt, UN Discuss Boosting Cooperation

Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr reviewed with UN resident coordinator Anita Nirody and director of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Egypt Ignacio Artaza boosting cooperation between the Egyptian government and the UN and its agencies operating in Egypt.

Praising the role by the world organization in Egypt and its efforts in its development process, Nasr stressed the importance of promoting cooperation between Cairo and the UN in the coming period in a way serving the developmental goals in Egypt.

Nirody reiterated the UN full support for Egypt in its endeavors for achieving higher development rates.
