Egypt welcomed 18.8 million tourists in 2025: PM
Egypt received 18.8 million tourists in 2025, marking a sharp increase from 15 million the previous year, Prime Minister MoUstafa Madbouly said on Wednesday.
Speaking at the weekly press conference, Madbouly said the strong performance of the tourism sector underscores its growing role in supporting the economy.
He added that the government will focus in the coming period on attracting more foreign investment and improving living standards for Egyptian citizens.
