EgyptAir, China’s AVIC sign MoU in air transport field

State flag carrier, EgyptAir signed Thursday a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with state-owned Chinese company AVIC International Aero-Development Corporation to establish a regional centre for plane maintenance in Egypt.

The regional maintenance centre in Egypt is set to serve Africa and cooperate in the fields of training and other aviation services.

The MoU was signed by Sherif Fathi – EgyptAir’s Chairman; and Zhang Guangjian – Vice President of AVIC INTL Aero-Development.
