EgyptAir, the state-run aviation company, operated its first direct flight from Cairo to UK’s Manchester, according to the Egyptian Civil Aviation Ministry on Saturday.
The total number of EgyptAir’s flights to the UK is going to hit 20 flights per week with the operation of the Cairo-Manchester route.
The total count is 14 flights to London, five flights to Manchester, and a flight from Luxor to London’s Heathrow Airport.
Mohamed Abbas, the Civil Aviation Minister, said that this move comes within the airline’s keenness on achieving optimal utilisation of its air fleet and expanding its air network.
