Egyptian Contractors Firms Bid for 3 Housing Cities Project in Kuwait

Egyptian Federation for Construction & Building Contractors is planning to offer projects and establish 3 major residential cities in Kuwait inside the Egyptian Construction companies with US$20 billion investment cost.

Board Member of the Federation for Construction & Building Contractors Mohamed Loqma said the Federation coordinates with Kuwaiti Embassy in Cairo in order to let the Egyptian contractors will travel to Kuwait to look for the targeted Implementation sites of housing projects.

The Federation received a notification from Kuwaiti cabinet since last February so as to make the Egyptian contractors will enter the competition.

Kuwaiti market is suffering from the weakness of the construction companies’ crisis as there is a gap between the submitted business volume and the possibilities of contracting companies which executed the business.
