Egyptian dairy maker Domty signs $10mn deal with Russia’s Russkoe Moloko

Egyptian dairy firm Arab Food Industries – Domty has signed a $10 million contract with a major Russian dairy company Russkoe Moloko, the Egyptian firm’s investor relations head Ahmed El Homosani announced Monday.

Upon this agreement, Domty will supply canned cottage cheese to Russkoe Moloko within a timeframe up to late 2017, El Homosani added.

The Egyptian dairy firm has clinched supply agreements with three Russian partners at a total of $40 million.

Earlier, the dairy product producers announced a successful tap on the Russian market in the second half of 2015, expecting to export products to Russia at $4 million initially.

Moreover, Domty sealed a contract worth $10 million with Russia’s largest retailer, Magnet.
