Egyptian Exchange briefing 07/05/2023

The Egyptian Exchange closed lower on Sunday with the main index, EGX 30, dropping by -0.35 percent to 17,235.31. The index lost 59.96 points, recording a day high value of 17,296.63 and a day low value of 17,109.60.

EGX 70 rose by 0.14 percent to 2,982.49, gaining 4.09 points. It recorded a day high value of 2,984.28 and a day low value of 2,955.53.

EGX 30 Capped fell by -0.38 percent and lost 80.00 points to close at 20,571.17. The index recorded a day high value of 20,663.57 and a day low value of 20,398.50.

The Egyptian Exchange market cap lost around 3 billion EGP today.
