Egyptian Exchange briefing 22/05/2023

The Egyptian Exchange closed low on Monday with the main index, EGX 30, dropping by -0.57 percent to 16,764.41. The index lost 97.47 points, recording a day high value of 17,034.88 and a day low value of 16,748.81.

EGX 70 soared by 0.44 percent to 3,009.86, gaining 13.26 points. It recorded a day high value of 3,041.80 and a day low value of 2,996.60.

EGX 30 Capped inched down by -0.87 percent to 19,965.29, losing 174.80 points. The index recorded a day high value of 20,329.28 and a day low value of 19,946.87.

The Egyptian Exchange market cap lost around eight billion EGP today.
