The Egyptian Exchange (EGX ) closed Sunday’s trading session in the green zone after the EGX30 main index rose by 2.37 percent to 22,128.49 points.
Both the EGX70 EWI and EGX100 EWI went up by 3.68 percent to 4,063.36 points and by 3.51 percent to 6,154.78 points, respectively.
The turnover recorded 2.69 billion Egyptian pounds through the exchange of 646.45 million shares, while the market cap value hit 1.50 trillion pounds.
As for trading on securities, the Arab and Egyptian investors were net buyers with 7.26 million pounds and 2.77 million pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the foreign investors were net sellers with 10.03 million pounds.
