Egyptian government, central bank step up coordination on key economic policies
Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly met on Monday with Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Governor Hassan Abdalla on Monday to review joint measures aimed at bolstering financial stability, controlling inflation, and supporting key sectors of the economy.
The meeting highlighted ongoing cooperation between the government and the central bank to maintain the downward trajectory of inflation, ensure the supply of essential goods, and create a stable environment for business and investment.
The discussions also focused on securing financing for strategic sectors, supporting production and employment, and reinforcing the economy’s resilience amid regional and global challenges.
