Egypt’s Industry and Trade Minister Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour has decided to reshuffle the Egyptian side of the Egypt-Indonesia Business Council.
The new council will be presided by Sherif El-Gabaly, Chairman of Polyserve Fertilisers, for three years.
As pursuant to the minister’s decree, the new board members of the Egyptian-Indonesian Business Council (Egyptian part) currently include:
- Osama Mahdy – Chairman of the Egyptian Linear Alkyl Benzene (ELAB);
- Sherif El Maghraby – Chairman of Magrabi Agriculture – Mafa;
- Nageh Farghaly – Managing Director of El Nasr Mining Company (NMC);
- Hatem Kamal Abdel-Hafiz El- Gamal – Chairman of Kayan for international Trade Company;
- Khaled Hassanein – Chairman of RAWAG for Industry and Trade;
- Ahmed Hamdy – Chairman of Orient Group for Food Industries;
- Sayed Abdel-Bary – Chairman of El Waha Company for Dates Industry;
- Mounir Masoud – Managing Director of Misr Café Company;
- Sabry El Sanadely – Chairman of Egypt Basic Industries Corporation (EBIC);
- Mohamed Reda – Chairman of Lucky Tours Egypt;
- Hamdi Harb – Chairman of El Montaza Tannery;
- Kamal Al Raei – Chairman of MAC Carpet Company;
- Mokhtar Abdul Latif – Chairman of El-Nasr for Intermediate Chemicals;
- Mohamed Baraka – Chairman of El Baraka Group;
- Mohamed Omar – Chairman of Monopoly Travel;
- Tarek Abou Bakr – Chairman of Fridal Group;
- and Ashraf Khaled Daoud – Chairman of National Sonac for Trade Company
In addition to the reshuffle, the ministerial decree also stipulated that the Council shall submit a half-annual report to the Egyptian Minister of Industry and Trade, involving its activities, future plans, and suggestions to develop the mutual interests for both countries.
